Chamber Music America Presents: Protect Yourself-Copyright & Licensing in the Digital Age
Tuesday, April 3rd 3:00-5:00 PM St. Peter's Church

Whether you need a refresher on the basics of copyright and licensing-or a catch-up course on how new media have changed the playing field, come to "Protect Yourself: Copyright Essentials" this Tuesday.

Copyright and entertainment attorney Corey Field will answer frequently asked questions such as: Who owns the copyright in a sound recording? What are the issues when recordings are on the Internet? What types of licenses do you need if you record a work that is still protected by copyright? How do you register copyright ownership in a recording or composition? What about new media, such as podcasting and streaming?

Date: Tuesday, April 3
Time: 3:00-5:00 PM
Place: Saint Peter's Church
619 Lexington Avenue at 54th Street
New York City

Please RSVP by email to sdadian@chamber-music.org by Monday, April 2nd, at 5:00 PM.
We look forward to seeing you at Saint Peter's on April 3rd!
Susan Dadian
Program Director

The CMA Plus "First Tuesdays" seminars are supported by grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, New York State Council on the Arts, and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.
