Bay Area Singer/Songwriters in the Round
Don't miss an evening with 3 Bay Area Singer/Songwriters: Leanne Weatherly, Rick Glaze, and Wendy Waller. All three artists will perform their own original material.
"Leanne Weatherly is the next major voice to watch out for- she's got clarity, passion, and fun arrangements that anyone would enjoy, all wrapped up in a very bright future," says Concord Music Group Artist Taylor Eigsti. As a result, Leanne has had the pleasure of singing with such jazz greats as Benny Green and has opened shows for legendary drummer, Louie Bellson. Bellson stated, "She has a definite and appealing sound that will produce many fans for her."
Rick Glaze is a businessman and financial columnist who writes songs with both humor and passion that touch your soul. Rick is a winner of the "Best Song" award from the West Coast Songwriters, Honorable Mention in the 2010 WCS Song Contest, and is a graduate of the Advanced Songwriting Workshop of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI). Rick has toured the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean, popular California venues and the songwriter's haunts in Nashville.
"Jimmy Buffett may have a massive following, but Rick Glaze is a fresh breeze, bringing sailing music to the outside world. From rock-ballad melodies like "The Purple River" to the poetic introspective look at middle age creeping up in "Over," his music resonates, even if the water isn't lapping at the side of your boat." Latitudes and Attitudes Magazine, August 2010.
Wendy Waller's unique and creative approach to melody and lyric embodies the vast rich landscape of American Roots Music. She tells her story with her dynamic multi-ranged voice. There is no compromise with Wendy. She is unyielding in her quest to take the listener on a musical journey. Every performance is a new and provocative experience.
