Come celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Bobby's residency at the intimate FB Lounge with his incredible Multi-Grammy nominated big band which performed this past summer at Lincoln Center backing up Larry Harlow and Ruben Blades for over 20,000 fans! Combining Latin influences with Funk, R & B and Jazz, this 19 piece ensemble has been praised for its 21rst century approach to the art of the big band. Whether playing original compositions, Arsenio Rodriguez or Frank Zappa, this is NOT your ordinary big band.

" ...Mr. Sanabria expands the possibilities, moving the sound of bands like that of (Puente, Machito, with all the heft, intricacy and clave-based rhythm into the harmonically sophistication of current new York Jazz players. It's New York up and down, and back and forth across the last century, from the street to the mambo palaces to the conservatories."
- Ben Ratliff, The New York Times

"Sanabria's 19 piece big band smokes fresh, high energy emotional, but unsentimental and strong, full of passions and energy... it is an unstoppable musical juggernaut."
- Fernando Gonzalez, Downbeat magazine
