FIREHOUSE 12 : SPRING 2011 JAZZ SERIES TO BEGIN MARCH 18TH

NEW HAVEN, CT -- Firehouse 12 is pleased to announce the schedule of performances for its Spring 2011 Jazz Series, beginning March 18th. This edition of the series, presenting Friday night concerts each week through June 10th, mixes returning groups with some exciting new projects making their Firehouse 12 debut. Each concert takes place in the intimate setting of the venue's recording studio, recently called "the pre-eminent spot for improvised music in the region" by the New York Times' Nate Chinen.

Performances will consist of two individually ticketed sets at 8:30 and 10:00 p.m. Those tickets are $18 and $12 respectively, and can be purchased online, by phone at (203) 785-0468, or in person at the box office beginning at 7:00 p.m. the night of the show. A limited amount of season passes good for admission to both sets of every concert are also available for $175.

Firehouse 12 is located at 45 Crown Street in New Haven's historic Ninth Square District.
