ANNE PHILLIPS RELEASES NEW CD

Anne Phillips, singer, composer, arranger, writer of the Christmas Jazz celebration "Bending Towards the Light...A Jazz Nativity" has released a new CD, "Ballet Time." On each cut she sings with a different old friend ... Dave Brubeck, Marian McPartland, Roger Kellaway, Dave Frishberg, Bob Dorough..."Each has a place in my history, from Dave Brubeck, who I met when I was 18, to Matt Perri, who I met when he was 18." A release party will be held on June 10th 12:30 - 3:30 at the Jazz Brunch at Cafe Loup, 105 W. 13th St where tenor player Bob Kindred (Ms. Phillips' husband) plays regularly with guitarist, John Hart and bassist, Steve LaSpina.
