Jazz And Funk Trombonist Fred Wesley Featured At LPAC's Black Music Month Celebration

Fred Wesley, the jazz and funk trombonist who worked with James Brown in the 1960s and '70s, will be performing June 15 at a LaGuardia Performing Arts Center's Jazz Jam session.

The performance begins at 8 p.m. in the college's Little Theatre at 47th Avenue and Van Dam Street, Long Island City. Tickets are $13 for general admission/$10 for musicians, students and senior.
