Rockwired.Com's Latest Edition of Jazzed and Blue Features the Psychedelic Jazz Sound of Teddy Presberg and music from Curtis Stigers, Luba Mason, The Dangling Success and Barbara Martin
(Published: July 03, 2011)

(July 3, 2011) The latest edition of Jazzed and Blue: Profiles in Blues and Jazz is now available for download at Rockwired.com and features music and an exclsuive interview with the psychedelic sound of jazz guitarist Teddy Presberg, In this opening segment, Presberg discusses the evolution of his sound from his debut CD "Blueprint of Soul" to his follow-up release "Outcries from a Sea of Red" and the recent release three volumes of remixes of his latter album. The second half of this edition of Jazzed and Blue will feature music from such jazz and blues artists as Hulon, J.T. Coldfire, Curtis stigers, The Dangling Success, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Luba Mason, Kenny Vance and the Planotones, Barbara Martin and Mighty Mojo Prophets. "Since last weeks, show, listeners have really taken a liking to the free form segment of the show and quite honestly so have I." says Jazzed and Blue host Brian Lush. "It's a real treat to end a long week witha show like this and to kick back and listen to some great music."

Often compared to the funky, soulful jazz musicians such as Grant Green and Eddie Harris, you also hear artists such as The White Stripes and Beck influence his sound. His music is fresh, ever evolving, and lays out his immediate and unfiltered response to our society and times. Teddy is known for speaking his own language on the guitar. He's not flashy with in-your-face chops. He can own one note, and with that note, you know exactly what he means. Teddy plays for the moment, never repeating himself " risking the falls to reach the musical highs. Teddy has shared the stage with other current guitar masters such as David 'Fuze' Fiuczynski, Fareed Haque, and John Scofield and performed at festivals such as the Saint Louis Jazz Festival and 10,000 Lakes Festival. The music of Teddy Presberg has another important characteristic: it is environmentally friendly. His touring is greenhouse gas free and endorsed by the eco-cool clothing company Nau. Teddy was also a part of the "Keep it Simple Tour" which was co-sponsored by the town of Alta, UT, and the eco-friendly organic bar producer Clif Bar.
