Called one of the hardest-swinging jazz vocalists working today, the San Francisco singer Paula West's rich, dusky voice has captured the hearts of critics and audiences alike. She is joined by the George Mesterhazy Quartet.

She has worked with songwriters like Richard Rodgers, Jule Styne and Cy Coleman. He is a premier jazz pianist and artistic director of 92Y's Jazz in July festival. Together they're an award-winning duo and mother and son, with a connection that reaches the last row. They'll be joined by Harry Allen (saxophone); Peter Washington (bass); and Kenny Washington (drums).
