Michael Williams Band Release Fire Red - A Blues Rock Masterpiece Produced By Eddie Kramer
(Published: August 24, 2011)

Los Angeles, CA-August 24, 2011-The Michael Williams Band is poised to make their mark with an energy filled release titled Fire Red. With legendary producer Eddie Kramer producing and behind the mixing board, Williams and his band were immediately put in the driver's seat. Kramer, of course, has produced Hendrix and countless other great musicians since the 60s.

Michael Williams Band dip into the well of influences such as Hendrix on Fire Red but make no mistake, they have their own style and sound that will leave you wanting for more. With a recent successful release party on June 6th at the House of Blues in Houston when the band opened for Blues Legend Buddy Guy, they were off and running, blazing their own distinct and memorable blues-rock trail. They also had 17 dates over the summer opening for Guy, Johnny Lang, Robert Cray and Eric Johnson. Each act is an established name in the circle of blues influence.

"There is nobody out there doing what Michael is doing..." - Eddie Kramer, multi Grammy Award winning producer.

Fire Red is more than a smooth blend of blues, garage rock, and a little bit of funk; it is a sound ripe for every-day listening and a classic rendering of blues-rock by a legend in the making. Folks interested in hearing music with heart and soul are well advised to pay attention to Michael Williams.

The next important show for MWB will be opening for Buddy Guy once again on September 3th in the hotbed of the blues Austin, Texas at the ACL LIVE/Moody Theater. Several other dates are forthcoming and listed on the band's website.

The Michael Williams Band is making its mark across the nation and getting the well-earned respect they deserve from the residing blues royalty in the industry. This is more than a good start for a star on the rise, it's a good example of a young artist making a prolific impact upon the people that matter the most.
The lucky ones are the listeners, who get the opportunity to rock the night away with blues made for a new generation of listeners.
