Rockwired.com's Jazzed and Blue Presents Multi-Instrumental Jazz Artist Kenny Love and His New Release'Case Sensitive'and Music from Red Hot and Red, Mozik, Dee Dee Bridgewater and Curtis Stigers
(Published: September 25, 2011)

The latest edition of Jazzed and Blue: Profiles in Blues and Jazz is now available for download at Rockwired.com and features an exclusive interview with multi-instrumental jazz artist Kenny Love regarding his debut solo release Case Sensitive. In the opening segment, Love discusses the inspiration behind the tracks of his new CD, his return to music making after years of success as a music promoter and his ideas for a follow up release. The second half of this edition of Jazzed and Blue will feature music from such jazz and blues artists as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Tracy Nelson, Mozik, Veronneau, The Dangling Success and more. "Listeners have really taken a liking to the free form segment of the show and quite honestly so have I." says Jazzed and Blue host Brian Lush. "It's a real treat to end a long week with a show like this and to kick back and listen to some great music."

The multi-talented, multifaceted entertainer Kenny Love has performed with several bands over the years, including The Lights of Soul (1976), Instant Function (1976-1978), Just Us & Duane (1982), High Rise (1984-1985), Nightwynd (1987), and The Wall of Jazz (2009). In 1984, he was signed by the notable major label R&B producer Aubrey "Skip" Gravatt, after Gravatt, also credited with having discovered disco queen Evelyn Champagne King, heard one of Kenny's studio recordings. The major label deal never materialized, however, due to Mr. Gravatt's untimely death. Until 2011, Kenny had released no albums as a solo artist, but did release three R&B/Dance singles as a solo artist, entitled All Of My Love and Just Want To Dance (With You) in 1991 and Vampire Love in 2003, all of which received international accolades. Recently he released the mesmerizing track titled Voyage to Serenity - the very first single off of his debut CD Case Sensitive. "My sound was developed after I discovered the amazing 'coloring' that can be affected and executed via inverted 7th, 9th, and 11th chords within a musical composition."
