Jazz drummer Kalil Madi Dead

Jazz drummer Kalil Madi who was a staple at University of the Streets in NYC died on May 20th, 2007 from an undisclosed illness. He was born on December 13, 1921 and has worked with the late Eddie Barnes trio that featured vocalist Vickie Barnes in 1960's in Catskills. A memorial is being planned and will be at Saint Peters Church on Sunday, July 8th, 2007 at 7:30 P.M.
