U.S. Navy Band Saxophone Symposium
Join us for the 35th annual International Saxophone Symposium, held January 20 and 21, 2012, at the George Mason University Center for the Arts in Fairfax, VA. This two-day event features concerts, recitals, masterclasses, and lectures relating to all things saxophone, and draws saxophone lovers of all ages from across America. The Concert Band will perform with guest classical saxophone artists on Friday, January 20, at 8 PM. The Commodores Jazz Ensemble will perform with Donny McCaslin on Saturday, January 21 at 8 PM. Our other saxophone soloists this year include Mario Marzi from Italy, the Diastema Saxophone Quartet from France, and retired Navy Band soloist Dale Underwood.
