Listen to WCOM-FM (www.wcomfm.org), 103.5 FM, Chapel Hill-Carrboro, North Carolina, for Sunday Night Jazz with Larry Reni Thomas, on February 17, 2013, for the airing of a radio documentary called The Helen Morgan Radio Project. The 27-minute profile and interview focuses on Helen Morgan, the North Carolina native who shot the trumpet legend Lee Morgan.

The program is on from 9 pm to 12 midnight, and is hosted by writer/radio announcer Larry Reni Thomas who wrote the article: "The Lady Who Shot Lee Morgan," based on 1996 interview a month before death in March 1996.
