JazzPlus Latin: Bobby Sanabria & Quarteto Ache with Special Guest Candido

Get ready for an evening of hot Latin Jazz by 2013 double Grammy nominee Bobby Sanabria, on the eve of the Grammy ceremony!

The Bronx native's powerful blend of jazz plus Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican styles is nominated for Best Latin Jazz Album and Best Instrumental Arrangement, his 6th and 7th Grammy nominations.

Bobby's Special Guest, NEA Jazz Master Candido, is the most recorded conga drummer in the history of music and has appeared and recorded with luminary artists in virtually every field of music, from Tony Bennett to Duke Ellington, Tito Puente, and Machito. This 91 year old grandmaster is still wowing audiences.

Sanabria's infectious grooves are grounded in his tenures with such legendary figures as Dizzy Gillespie, Tito Puente, Paquito D'Rivera, Ray Barretto, Mongo Santamaría, Chico O'Farrill, and the Godfather of Afro-Cuban Jazz, Mario Bauzá.
