Seventy years earlier, popular dance band leader, Benny Goodman took to the stage of Carnegie Hall..a concert that put jazz on the concert stage for the first time. Canadian jazz virtuoso, Bob DeAngelis celebrates the 70th Anniversary of this famous concert with a 50 piece entourage of premier jazz and classical players, The Champagne Symphony." Like Benny, Bob plays a mean jazz clarinet and is celbrated as one of Canada's most popular bandleaders.
