(Published: February 04, 2014)
Organizers of the 2014 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival have unveiled their 2014 poster, which celebrates Preservation Hall and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
The festival describes Preservation Hall as "a venue for jazz pioneers" founded in 1961 by Allan Jaffe that reinvigorated a tradition, "ultimately creating a self-renewing trans-generational hand-off to new masters and devotees that continues today."
The silk-screened print is the work of artist Terrance Osborne. It is available in a variety of limited-edition formats, with prices ranging from $69 to $895. The poster can be pre-ordered through www.art4now.com.
