Kitamura-Laubrock-Filiano at Evolving Music Series (NYC) - Monday Feb 10, 2014

10PM, Monday, February 10 at Clemente Soto Velez Cultural & Educational Center (107 Suffolk St between Delancey & Rivington) with Kyoko Kitamura (voice), Ingrid Laubrock (sax), Ken Filiano (bass). Three inventive performers come together for the first time to present an evening of compositions, spontaneous and otherwise, including a premiere of a story-piece based on a speech by a questionable local politician. Part of the Shayna Dulberger Residency at Arts for Arts. Kitamura-Laubrock-Filiano is preceded by Shayna Dulberger's group at 7:30PM and Andrew Lamb Trio at 8:45PM. $11 for 1 set/$16 for 2 set/$20 entire evening. Students & Seniors: students $8/$12/$18.
