Seabreeze Jazz Festival announces lineup

The white-sand beaches of Panama City Beach will be the backdrop for a weekend of smooth jazz entertainment as The 16th Annual Seabreeze Jazz Festival returns April 23-27.

All main performances will take place at the Pier Park Amphitheater (Aaron Beasant Park) adjacent to the Pier Park shopping complex on the west end of Panama City Beach. The event, attracting attendees from 41 states and at least six countries, was named "Top 10 Jazz Festival in the USA" by JazzIZ Magazine and a "Top 100 Event in North America" by the North American Tour Bus Association.

The Seabreeze Jazz Festival continues to attract thousands to the Northwest Florida coast with its reputation for the "Best in Smooth Jazz" as heard on national radio and charting on Billboard Magazine's Contemporary Jazz charts.

Artists to perform for 2014 include: Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue, Dave Koz and Friends Summer Horns II featuring Dave Koz, Gerald Albright, Mindi Abair, and Richard Elliot. Other performers include Brian Culbertson, Will Downing, Jonathan Butler, Norman Brown, The Family Stone, Nick Colionne, Brian Simpson, Maysa, Phil Perry, Kim Waters, Chuck Loeb, Eric Darius, Cindy Bradley, Jeff Lorber, Everette Harp, Chieli Minucci and Special EFX, Alex Bugnon, Jonathan Fritzen, Vincent Ingala, Julian Vaughn, Lebron, Nicholas Cole, Lin Rountree, Micheal J. Thomas, and Jones and Company.

Tickets are $80 per single day, $150 for a Weekend Pass good for Friday-Sunday, and $200 for a Four Day Pass. Tickets are available for purchase online at seabreezejazzfestival.com or by phone at 800-595-4849.

Cash only ticket outlets in Northwest Florida include:

Tickets with military discount available (cash and credit cards) at: Eglin Air Force Base, MWR Office; Naval Coastal Systems Center, MWR Office; Tyndall Air Force Base, MWR Office; Pensacola Naval Air Station, MWR Office.

Additional service charges will be added for tickets purchased at the event gate weekend of the show.
In addition, smooth jazz fans can receive free tickets to the event by donating a good used band instrument to L.I.N.K.S. of Northwest Florida.

"Lonely Instruments for Needy Kids" is a not-for-profit organization that accepts used band instruments, repairs them, and then makes them available to students in Northwest Florida who would not be able to participate due the financial burden of either buying or renting an band instrument.

Playground Music Center in Panama City and Fort Walton Beach is collecting the instruments for the event. For each instrument accepted, a free Four-Day Pass will be awarded to the Seabreeze Jazz Festival (a $200 value).
