Jazzmeia Horn, the 2013 winner of the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, is a passionate artist who is receiving high praise from critics and musicians alike. Her rich styling and wide vocal range have earned her comparisons to classic singers such as Betty Carter, Sarah Vaughan, and Nancy Wilson. Jazzmeia has shared the stage with such stellar musicians as Billy Harper, Junior Mance, Winard Harper, Vincent Gardner, Johnny O’Neal as well as NEA Jazz Masters Frank Wess, Ellis Marsalis, and Jimmy Owens.
