Allison Adams Tucker brings April in Paris Tour to East Coast- NYC July 26 SubCulture & Boston August 1 Ryles
(Published: July 16, 2014)

"World jazz with urbane cool." Join multi-lingual vocalist Allison Adams Tucker from Southern California on a musical journey as she celebrates the release of her second CD "April in Paris" - songs of springtime and new beginnings from around the world. The album was recorded in Paris on UNESCO's 1st International Jazz Day at the end of her last Europe tour, including international musicians and arrangers from 5 countries.

With a voice "supple as silk and smooth as cashmere" (eJazzNews), and "mesmerizing, whether in English, Japanese, French" (GirlSingers.org), Allison Adams Tucker creates a unique montage of jazz-driven melodies and rhythms in 6 languages that is turning heads. From Brazilian to straight ahead, French chansons to Mediterranean and beyond- "expect the unexpected." (Scott Yanow, LA Jazz Scene)
