"Jim Pepper Lives!" Web Site Moves to New Home!
...and the digs are phatter than ever! If you've seen the old site, you must check out the new. If you haven't seen the old one, well you must check out the new. If you know who Jim Pepper was, you might find some interesting info; and if you knew Pepper himself, I hope it brings up some great memories. And of course, if you have no idea who I;m talking about -- then check it out at the NEW JimPepperLives site at <b>www.jimpepperlives.word...
Pepper was a Native American jazz saxophonist who integrated his musical heritage with jazz and many other forms of music (sometimes in many layers). He was a profound influence on some of the biggest names in jazz today -- Joe Lovano, Dave Liebman, Bob Moses, Ed Schuller, and many others acknowledge the tremendous impact their association with Pepper had on them and their music.
Find out why at <b>www.jimpepperlives.word....
And feel free to let me know if there's anything you're aware of that you think should be added to the site -- it's growing again after a bit of a hiatus, and I know there's a lot more to do. But with the help of his friends, fans, and collaborators, I hope that the site will help give this man his long overdue creds and recognition throughout the jazz community.
One more time: that's <b>www.jimpepperlives.word....
Hope to see you there!
