THE LADY WHO SHOT LEE MORGAN AUTHOR AT WAYNE COUNTY (NC) JAZZ SHOWCASE MLK, JR. WEEKEND SPECIAL EVENT, JANUARY 16, 2015

Larry Reni Thomas, author of The Lady Who Shot Lee Morgan, will be the host of the very popular Wayne County Jazz Showcase, in Goldsboro, North Carolina, January 16, 2015. The event will be a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and is scheduled to take place from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm, at The Wayne County Arts Council Building, 102 N. John Street, Goldsboro, North Carolina. Thomas will also be available to autograph copies of The Lady Who Shot Lee Morgan (www.khabooks.com).

The concert will feature Brooklyn, New York-based vocal sensation, Mavis Swan Poole, a Durham, North Carolina, native and a graduate of the famed North Carolina Central University jazz studies department. She is scheduled to be joined by an excellent rhythm section which will consist of Ryan Hansler, piano; Christian Dasheill, bass; and Jasmine Best, drums.
