Jazzkaar 2015 - Tallinn International Jazz Festival Announces Program!
(Published: February 16, 2015)

Hosting some of the biggest names in Jazz music, Jazzkaar 2015 is the 26th annual International Jazz Festival in Tallinn, Estonia. After recently announcing their complete list of performances this April, the festival boasts over 29 performances from local and international jazz artists between the 17th-23rd of April. In addition to fantastic performances, the city of Tallinn itself, a well-preserved medieval town and a protected UNESCO heritage site, is a worthy destination to anyone with an eye and ear for art & culture.

Jazzkaar has just recently published it's complete festival program which can be viewed here:

The following excerpt describes Jazzkaar's four major headliners (Featured from complete article: http://www.jazzkaar.ee/en...)

"Jazzkaar has announced two more additional headliners for the 26th edition of the Jazzkaar International Jazz Festival 2015, taking place between the 17th and 26th of April all over Estonia. In addition to 6-time Grammy award saxophone legend David Sanborn and soulful jazz vocalist and Grammy winner Gregory Porter come two more electrifying performers: John Scofield - Jon Cleary Duo (USA) and Ester Rada (Israel-Ethiopia).

Well-known guitar genius John Scofield's style has inspired guitar players across the globe for decades; the talented guitarist continuously makes it to the top three on the jazz music charts alongside Pat Metheny and Bill Frisell. For his performance at Jazzkaar he will be accompanied by pianist and jazz singer Jon Cleary. The duo will take the audience on an acoustic journey to experience the musical roots of New Orleans and R&B and Blues classics. Another highlighted performance and headlining artist is Ethiopian-born Israeli singer and songwriter Ester Rada, whose groovy stage presents and funky jazz tunes have led her on an intense voyage to international success. Joining her on stage is a complete instrumental band and together they will create a thrilling jazz experience that should definitely not be missed!

Between these two new headliners, the most awaited jazz artist in the world Gregory Porter, and David Sanborn whose deep sax tunes has rendered him famous since the 70s, this year's Jazzkaar will not only rock your world but will make music history once again."
