Mercedes Hall
(Published: September 05, 2008)

I want to welcome you to my first newsletter with this I'll keep everyone up to date on my comings, goings and anything in-between.

It's that time of year Fall is approaching and before you know it the holidays will be upon us. So whether its Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza or any other holiday why not treat your loved one or yourself to a gift of song. That's right folks, singing lessons by yours truly.

I'm an award winning singer as well as a vocal coach with over 25 years of teaching experience in all styles. I'm accepting a limited number of new students this year but you don't have to be pursuing a professional career in singing in order to apply. In fact many non-professionals have taken lessons who just wanted to realize their dream.

You can also give that dream to someone else! I offer discount packages on multiple sessions and gift certificates. So get yours today as they will go quickly!

'Mercedes is not only a fabulous role model, but a fabulous teacher. she has instilled in me a sense of confidence not only in my ability to sing, but in life in general. Mercedes is completely and personally dedicated to every student, and has an incredible method of teaching. I would recommend her to anyone who's serious about pursuing a career in music!'

-Michelle Medoff

'Mercedes Hall is a very passionate person who shares her knowledge freely. She is a very 'hands on' teacher..with this technique you soon learn instinctively when you are using intrinsic muscles, or if you're tensing when singing, or of you 'hike' (force-up_ your larynx...This technique just makes it easier to monitor yourself for any of these problems when practicing... I am an R & B singer and Mercedes has helped me reach stratospheric heights with this techinque and I've also gained much more confidence from my sessions with her...Thank Ms. M!

TK, former student
