AGUILAR AMPLIFICATION AND D'ADDARIO ANNOUNCE A CLINIC WITH BASSIST DAMIAN ERSKINE
(Published: September 22, 2015)

NEW YORK, NY - Aguilar Amplification, maker of high-quality bass amplification, pickups, preamps and effects pedals for bassists and D'Addario are pleased to announce a clinic with bassist Damian Erskine.

Known for his work with drum legend Peter Erskine, Gino Vannelli and Les McCann, Erskine is widely revered for his stunning musicianship. His most recent release as a bandleader is 2015's Within Sight while his next release with Peter Erskine's New Trio is set for a 2016 release.

In addition to his rigorous touring/recording schedule, Erskine is firmly established as a respected educator and author. He has written for Bass Player and Bass Musician Magazines and is a regular contributor to NoTreble.com. His most recent book is Improvisor's Path which joins his past work, the highly-successful Right Hand Drive, as an essential tome for the modern bassist.

Currently on the road with Gino Vannelli, Erskine will be bringing his bandmates from that ensemble for this performance; guitarist Tom Guarna, keyboardist George Colligan and drummer Reinhardt Melz.

The event will be held at the Aguilar Artist Loft in NYC on Thursday, October 22nd, 2015 at 7pm. This clinic is free to attend but seating is limited! To register please RSVP to: info@aguilaramp.com
