6:30 pm: Bassist JOHN MENEGON presents music from his upcoming release on Dot Time Records "Blew By Blues" with his group "Quartet East" with original compositions inspired by the music of Charlie Haden, as well as three Haden tunes. Menegon had the unique experience of spending ten years working with the late, great Texas tenors Dewey Redman and David "Fathead" Newman, and this is his fourth release as a bandleader. Release Date: March 10 (2017)

8:00 pm: Vocalist TERI ROIGER's upcoming release "Ghost of Yesterday: Shades of Lady Day" on Dot Time Records reflects her love and deep appreciation for Billie Holiday, whose music provided the initial spark leading to Teri's lifelong commitment to jazz, On this multi-dimensional project, Roiger celebrates and honors Lady Day's legacy by showing the many facets of Billie - her ebullient joy, her rebellious spirit, her rich sensuality, and the depth of her blues. (Release date: April 7, 2017, to coincide with Billie Holiday's birthday.) Teri will also feature selections from her 2012 recording DEAR ABBEY: The Music of Abbey Lincoln.

9:30 pm: Vocalist PAUL JOST is an eclectic artist. A vocalist, drummer, arranger, and composer who performs frequently in New York, Philadelphia, and New Jersey, along with recent tours in South Korea, Ireland, and Germany. His solo CD Breaking Through on Dot TIme Records continues to receive raves worldwide. I've been with Dot Time over three years now and I'm looking forward to their showcase at Caffe Vivaldi featuring Teri and John. Joining me are Jim Ridl on piano, Dean Johnson on bass, and Tim Horner on drums.
