Leading independent music distributor Naxos of America (NoA) announced today the launch of a new website, ArkivJazz.com, dedicated to the online sales of albums by Jazz artists. The new website launched January 5, 2017 and will complement NoA's dedicated-classical music site, Arkivmusic.com, which debuted in 2006.

This new online store will provide one-stop shopping for the Jazz fan worldwide -- offering CD and vinyl formats as well as Jazz-oriented DVD's. NoA will be working with all labels - major and independent - to ensure product can be ordered and shipped immediately, to both US and international customers. ArkivJazz.com will also feature content exclusive to the website including interviews and editorial content, and a VIP subscription offering free U.S. shipping and member-only specials, and includes a complimentary subscription to Downbeat Magazine.

"This is just what the Jazz world needs," said multiple GRAMMY and Tony Award-winning vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater, who is currently in the midst of recording her next CD at Royal Studios in Memphis. "Trying to find Jazz product in the marketplace for fans is becoming increasingly difficult for its very devoted audience and ArkivJazz.com will certainly fill that void. Kudos to Naxos for setting this up!"

Heading up ArkivJazz will be executives Jeff Van Driel and Jonathan Eby. Jeff Van Driel is the President of ArkivMusic, Inc. and CEO of NoA, and has worked in various roles for Naxos since 2007.

Jonathan Eby, Chief Operating Officer of NoA, also heads up US physical retail operations for the Naxos Music Group.

Said Jeff Van Driel, "Just as ArkivMusic has filled the need for an online dedicated classical music store which core fans and collectors love, ArkivJazz will fill the same need for jazz. Jazz aficionados have few places to find CDs, DVDs and vinyl for this special genre - we expect ArkivJazz to exceed jazz fans' expectations worldwide."
