Leesa Richards sings at Arts Garage January 28
(Published: January 21, 2017)

Arts Garage presents the Leesa Richards Quartet on Saturday, January 28, at 8 PM, featuring Marcus France, Peter Parente, and Jon David Anderson. The venue is located at 94 NE 2nd Ave in Delray Beach. Tickets are $30-40-45 at artsgarage.org or (561) 450-6357.

Singer-Songwriter Leesa Richards is a storyteller, a soulful voice offering a soundtrack to the narratives of life. Her sound taps into the deep roots of R&B, the poetry of jazz and folk and the energy of rock. Her debut solo album, Mother's Child, is a beautiful blend of soulful ballads and R&B.

Richards has performed with powerhouse artists including Faith Hill, Whitney Houston, The Bee Gees, Kelly Clarkson, Gloria Estefan, and Julio Iglesias, and has recorded with Barbra Streisand and Lenny Kravitz. She played the role of Mary Magdalene in the national tour of Jesus Christ Superstar, for which she received critical acclaim, and has sung on numerous television commercials.

"Leesa Richards' voice has a warm, lyrical, almost familiar tone. Her band is tight and talented, and her lyrics are genuine and mature. It's impossible to not like her debut CD." -Lance Tracey (CD Baby website)

Arts Garage has tables set up and you may BYO by way of food and drink.
