The Monterey Jazz Quartet Releases Live At The 2007 Monterey Jazz Festival

The new Monterey Jazz Quartet release, Live at the 2007 Monterey Jazz Festival - is out today (CD & digital) on Concord Records / Monterey Jazz Festival Records.

Recorded live at the 50th anniversary event at the Monterey Jazz Festival, the CD documents the first-ever collaboration and premier performance of the all-star group comprised of bassist Dave Holland, saxophonist Chris Potter, pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba, and drummer Eric Harland. Holland, Potter, and Harland (with Jason Moran filling in the piano chair) are currently on tour together in support of the CD.
