Miko Montgomery produces lush, dreamy songs on new album
(Published: August 26, 2017)

Miko Montgomery set out to create a very peculiar blend of sound by combining the crisp edge of pop, the lush textures of synthesizers and the creative freedom of jazz.

Montgomery's new album, Miko's Dream, has a very ethereal atmosphere - dreamy music that is still somehow rooted in reality.
This collection of eight songs feels like a true musical journey, as Montgomery explores various moods, sounds and ideas with his creativity and vision.

On songs such as "It's A Mystery," or the title track itself, Miko sets out to create hypnotic textures with groovy beats and beautiful ambient melodies, going for a chill and relaxing flow.

"Raven Diablo" certainly stands out as one of the most memorable
moments on this LP. The song is fueled by upbeat electronic
grooves and brought to life by some stunning, fascinating melodic
lines with a New Age feel.

One of the most noticeable quirks about Montgomery's music is definitely that these tunes are refreshingly unusual and interestingly arranged, with ideas that are as simple as they are groundbreaking and innovative.
