#1 on Billboard's Hit Single Sales Chart, #13 Hot Rock Song and more, as ‘Got It Going On' Nears Four Million Video Views and Finds a Breakthrough Audience

Escapism, Humor and a Pug Dog Set the Tone, as Rock/Pop's My Silent Bravery Intentionally Goes Over the Top

'Got It Going On' by My Silent Bravery has become a breakthrough smash. The escapist track hit #1 on the Billboard Hit Singles Sales Chart, and this past week it debuted at #13 on Billboard's Hot Rock Songs with a "Hot Shot Debut". The song is also #15 on the Billboard Alternative Digital Song Sales Chart and #16 on Billboard's Rock Digital Song Sales, and marks a well-earned moment in the spotlight for lead singer/writer Matthew Wade. He comments, "The song and video are over the top for a reason. There's so much bad news out there. The goal of ‘Got It Going On' is to take a break and try to have a good time."

The irreverent video, complete with pug dog for levity, has gone viral and is nearing four million views. A linchpin of the song's explosive chart success, the sexsational clip intentionally ‘dangles the candy' to get the audience engaged, but as Wade asserts, the flashy visuals are a means to an end: "Our band's message is all about positivity and community. Perseverance...triumph over adversity. We support trauma victims and cancer survivors. We have an inner spiritual compass. We ‘pay it forward'. But it turns out we needed some tongue-in-cheek T&A to hit the Billboard charts!"

Huffington Post and Paste Magazine, among others, have covered the popular song/clip:

Wade's hit was co-written and produced by Jim McGorman (Gwen Stefani, Avril Lavigne, Poison,) and is the first single from My Silent Bravery's upcoming album "Willing to Try." The album features twelve tracks and will be released as three separate EPs over the next year, with more details to be announced soon.
