On Jazz Tango, pianist/composer/arranger Ziegler presents his US-based trio of world-class Argentinian collaborators Hector Del Curto (bandoneon) and Claudio Ragazzi (guitar). They play three Nuevo Tango standards by Astor Piazzolla and seven soulful, virtuosic originals by Ziegler.
It also represents a historic first for the genre of Nuevo Tango, as the first major Grammy® win for a Nuevo Tango recording. This year's 2018 Grammy® Award for "Best Latin Jazz Album" further highlights Ziegler's pioneering forward momentum.
