His upcoming performances in New York and Boston are among Vasandani's first to present this classic yet renewed repertoire; several weeks ago in April, he appeared at the Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe in Detroit, MI for two nights of sold-out concerts. Joining him at the Jazz Standard will be James Francies (piano); Josh Crumbly (bass); Obed Calvaire (drums); and John Ellis (sax); he will play one show at the Regatta Bar with James Francies (piano); Josh Crumbly (bass); Jeremy Dutton (drums); and Yosvani Terry (sax).

Additional dates in support of Shadow Train are being planned for later this year including a European tour in the fall, and more.
