Long Time No Time offers unique cocktail of jazz, rock, and ska on new release.
(Published: August 07, 2018)

Long Time No Time is a diverse and vibrant musical ensemble with a charming tone. Their sound has a rather retro vibe although it is also modern and crystal clear, bringing the best of both worlds together.

The group's most recent release, First Time Full Time, is a really pleasing combination of various influences, including ska, rock, and jazz. The result of such a unique sonic cocktail is a dance-worthy, groove-driven, and edgy vibe, which actually makes me think of the work of artists like Lettuce, Big Mean Sound Machine, or even Vulfpeck, only to mention some.

The brilliant thing about this music is that on one side, it is actually extremely elegant and sophisticated, and on the other hand, it is just genuinely fun and direct. This is the kind of music that feels warm and electrifying, immediately generating a connection between the audience and the musicians.
