Lino Krizz coolly combines West Coast jazz with alternative hip-hop
(Published: February 25, 2019)

Lino Krizz is a diverse and talented artist with a focus on combining the smooth vibes of West Coast jazz with the astonishing grooves and lyrical wits of alternative rap.

His most recent single, "Time+Alt," is actually a fantastic example of his sound and vision.

Frizz set out to charm the listeners with his distinctive tone and style. The pulsating attitude of this release makes me think of influential artists such as Kendrick Lamar or Mac Miller, yet its tone has a nice, organic feel, due to the timeless jazz band arrangement. The lead instrumental melodies blend in perfectly with his vocals and icy cool swagger. This song is loaded with personality, and his talent for using words and melodies is absolutely one of a kind.

If you enjoy music that's sophisticated yet gritty and filled with warmth, you are definitely going to enjoy this one.
