Harlem Stage Presents: Immigrant Song The Diva Experience
(Published: January 08, 2020)

The first in our Immigrant Song series celebrating the beautiful diversity of our origins, THE DIVA EXPERIENCE features renowned sopranos Adrienne Danrich, Liora Michelle and special guests to regale us Motown, Broadway, Gospel, and classical songs to interpret their families' histories of arrival in the US.

Their stories and their personal inspirations are different. What they share is faith in the unifying power of music and song to penetrate the walls of isolation and suspicion across races, cultures and religions.

The narratives and music shared are guaranteed to stimulate discussion across generations, genders and cultures and motivate positive change. The Immigrant Song concerts are co-produced by Katie McGrath, Chet Whye, Jr. and Musa Jackson
