SPANISH SAXO CARLOS VILLOSLADA LAUNCHES "TABANQUEANDO EN LA PLAZA NINA"

Spanish saxophonist Carlos Villoslada will launch his new disc Tabanqueando en la Plaza Nina.

Brilliant musicians from both flamenco and jazz gather in Villoslada´s new project: Raúl Gálvez (cante), Juan Galiardo (pianist), Antonio Corrales (contrabass), Dani Domínguez (drums), Rubem Dantas (percussion), Diego Montoya and Pedro de Chana (palmas).

Carlos Villoslada develops different flamenco beats (seguiriyas, soleá, fandangos de Huelva, trilla, bulerías, tientos, garrotín) by adding up jazz elements and successfully keeping the traditional flamenco soul.

The combination of instrumental basis and flamenco cante produces a rejuvenated musical language, coming from Southern Spain.
