If you look above, you'll see that I mentioned that about five years ago.

Maybe we both herd it first from Alice B. Toklas.

After the Herbie Hancock, Tony Williams band, it's zippo.

Whoah there Mr. Hopson! Are you stating that you don't rate Any of his fusion stuff? Is that just a matter of taste (i.e. you don't like fusion), or do you think Miles just lost the run of himself altogether once he went electric?

the 'sheesh is extremely curious!

We Want Miles sounds lean and hungry. Also of this world, which is sort of less than before hip trouble (what kind of silly wordplay is that), but still great. While I never liked the backing, the way he played Human Nature and Time after Time meant something to me when I was a child, I spun these again and again and the phrasing always slayed me. I was little. But I still can connect to myself.

Most of all, there were live concerts on tv, Miles leaning on a keyboard for ten minutes or so, just the one cluster. Punker than punk for this here impressionable kid.

Have just been listening to Get Up With It. I mean. How did he get there? There's really no way the guy should have got there.
