Never really liked them.
But, last week, I picked pu a guy at the Beau-Rivage (one of the 2 "palaces" in Lausanne) (am a cab driver). He spoke English. When he said "railway station", I guessed he was Swedish. 30 sec later he was talking to someone (female) on his mobile, in Swedish! The drive to the train station is really short. When we got there I turned over to tell him how much he owed me, and there it struck me, this was one of the ABBA guys! I asked him, and indeed yes it was. He was well dressed, looking good, slim, smiling, not at all like many of those "stars".

Rollie: do you have John Zorn's The Gift? It's an exotica tribute (with a nod to surf guitar), very well done and enjoyable. (Pay no attention to the weird pictures that come with it.)

Square Dance. No, I don't, but thanks very much for the tip. Sounds like a good one.

Fine solo outing by the hot female vocalist in Brian Wilson's band.

This is waay better than I was expecting. Kinda what you might think the Faces would sound like some 35+ years after their last album. McLagan's vocals are excellent although more like Ronnie Lane than Rod Stewart.
