Breathtaking Guitarist Lloyd Gregory Celebrates New Recording
At Biscuits & Blues - OCTOBER 17th

Acclaimed for his melodically soulful technique as a lead and rhythm guitarist Lloyd Gregory is having a cd release party at Biscuits And Blues, San Francisco's #1 blues nightclub, to celebrate his new recording, self-titled LLOYD GREGORY, for Roxboro Entertainment Group owned by renowned bassist Stanley Clarke. A master of both acoustic and electric guitar, Lloyd has released five critically acclaimed recordings as a leader and has recorded and/or performed on stage with esteemed talent such as Martha Reeves, Freddie Stone, Rodney Franklin, George Duke and many others in a career that spans several decades. Minor 7th: Acoustic Music Review says, "Lloyd expertly fuses soul, pop and jazz, forging a hybrid that is both enjoyable and intellectually stimulating."

Lloyd Gregory will be featuring selections from his new cd LLOYD GREGORY at Biscuits And Blues October 17th with his tight knight working group featuring Glen Pearson and Janice Maxie Reid on keyboards, saxophonist Robert Stewart, Marty Holland on bass, Billy "Shoes" Johnson on drums and percussionist James Henry. Biscuits And Blues, voted America's #1 Blues Club by the Blues Foundation (formerly the W.C. Handy Awards) and the Bay Area Blues Society, is located in the heart of San Francisco's theater district at 401 Mission Street at Geary. Two one-hour sets with intermission begin at 8:00pm. Admission is $15.
