Pianist Markus Gottschlich's "Of Places Between"(InnerCat Music Group) is a global, genre bending album that features artists and sounds from the US, Austria, Uruguay, India, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean. The album, which consists mostly of Gottschlich's originals, is an in-depth collaboration with the multiple Grammy Award winners Federico Britos (violin) and Jose Javier Freire (drums).

Following the online release date of July 1st, Markus Gottschlich's engagements included the Jazz Festival Vienna, Jazzpoint Linz and the Outreach Jazz Festival.
