"ROCK THE RUNWAY" MUSICAL CONCERT AND FASHION SHOW TAKES OVER RUMBA ROOM ON MARCH 20Th

Followers of urban fashions and music can enjoy both at "Rock the Runway," a star-studded concert and fashion show that will take over the Rumba Room on March 20.

Chuchito Valdes, master Cuban pianist and 2007 Latin Grammy nominee will perform with his Afro Cuban Jazz Trio.

A blend of world and urban music will be presented, encompassing Afro Cuban Jazz, Salsa, Timba, Hip Hop, RnB and Reggeaton.

The fashion segment of the show will feature designs from aspiring apparel designers. Designer offerings to be modeled will include clothing lines from Franco+Russe, Sazz, King of Sneakers, ladies Man Clothing and Royalty Treasure. In addition to clothing, the show will feature designer makeup, handbags and lingerie.

Doors for the event at Universal City Walk open at 6 p.m. The Fashion Show which kicks off the proceedings, begins at 7:30. Ticket priced are $17.50/advance and $20 at the door.VIP seats are $35. Advance tickets can be purchased at www.lucumiyque.com
