This month, Diane Moser's Composers Big Band celebrates May in Montclair, by featuring the music of Montclair composers Rob Henke, Rob Middleton, Jim McNeely and Diane Moser, as well as resident composers Jim Cifelli, Matt Haviland, Erick Storckman and Ed Xiques.
For the past 11 1/2 years, the band has performed monthly concerts, primarily in Montclair, and has featured the music of over 80 composers and performers, from all over the world, but during the month of May we bring it all home with composers from Montclair and our resident composers.

After May, the band will be taking off for two months, but audience members will be delighted to know, that the regular last Wednesday of the month slot, will be featuring small groups led by CBB band members. For June 25th, it will be trombonist Ben Williams and Comfort Food, and for July 30th, it will be an ensemble led by trumpeter Rob Henke. The big band will return in August with new compositions, and with featured vocalist Melanie Mitrano.
