The Alexis P. Suter Band (Published: December 12, 2014)
BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, the longest operating performance venue in lower Manhattan, proudly presents The Alexis P. Suter Band performing on Friday, January 9 at 8PM.
The Alexis P Suter Band are a powerful and unique 5 piece ensemble fronted by a vocalist who transcends styles and genres. A true vocal phenomenon, bass/baritone powerhouse Suter and her band began wowing audiences in the northeast as regular performers at Levon Helm's Midnight Ramble Sessions in Woodstock, NY over 90 times. As special guest openers, they have played to sold-out audiences at the Beacon Theater, Bethel Woods Center For The Arts, The Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park, NJ and Central Park's Summerstage.
Alexis P. Suter was nominated for Best Soul Blues Female Artist at the 33rd Annual Blues Music Awards, and the Band has additionally contributed a song to the Songs After Sandy (songsaftersandy.com) project and Restore Red Hook. APSB are proud and honored to be on the Second Volume along with Sir Paul McCartney and Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) with their song "In The City."

"It's a rare thing to share the stage with great talent like that young lady." -B.B. King
"International Recording Artist Alexis P. Suter and her talented band are a must for any venue large or small that take their music seriously. She is as great off the stage as she is on. She is not to be missed!"
-Michael Cloeren, Festival/Producer/Director & Founder of Pocono Blues Festival
"Without a doubt the biggest voice and heart in the blues world today."
- Richard Briggs, Pres/Founder Briggs Farm Blues Festival
"She's got a voice that could bring down the tower of Babel. She may be the best blues singer on the east coast. She's played the Midnight Rambles with Levon Helm for over two years now, but she should be playing in palaces and kingdoms to kings and queens. " - Joe Vignola, Long Island Blues Newsletter
