JGP RECORDS recording artist and vocalist MICHELLE WALKER performs an intimate program of music at Café Noctambulo on Friday July 24th 7pm and 9pm Sets

NEW YORK (JULY 7, 2015)

Café Noctambulo continues its tremendous spring and summer concert season of highlighting some of the finest jazz voices on the New York scene by presenting award nominated, rising star jazz vocalist Michelle Walker in concert on Friday July 24th. Michelle will be joined by pianist Sean Fitzpatrick and bassist Michael O'Brien. They will be performing 2 sets: 7:00pm and 9:00pm with a $20 music cover charge and a $15 food and/or beverage minimum.

Michelle was born in Germany but raised in the suburbs of Columbia, SC where she began her love for singing after auditioning and being accepted into the prestigious ARTAG program and school for the dramatic and performing arts. She studied classical voice at the University of Maryland and jazz performance at the music Conservatorium von Amsterdam in Holland. Today Michelle has transformed into one of the NY music scenes most talked jazz singers all while managing a very rigorous international touring schedule. Come hear the creative voice that Russian TV-1 calls "...searing.....riveting....and passionate...."

I love performing says Walker, singing especially, "It gives me the opportunity to share the joy, pain, love and loss of life in a way that seems to heal me. At times I feel so connected to those listening that I lose myself.....it is a very beautiful experience." Michelle is currently celebrating the release of her sophomore release Love Misery.

Café Noctambulo is a very inviting intimate room that is located in the rear of Pangea restaurant.
