"Black Coffee" Artist Pippi Ardennia Supports Chicago AIDS Organization Better Existence with HIV (BEHIV) (Published: September 26, 2008)
Jazz artist Pippi Ardennia debuts philanthropic support with her music by donating 50% of her "Black Coffee" CD sales to Better Existence with HIV (BEHIV), a non-profit AIDS organization in Chicago.
As the changing faces of AIDS increasingly reflect Black women, Pippi believes everyone should lend support in some manner. Moreover, she is doing just that and vows to benefit other non-profit organizations with the gesture of using her music philanthropically.
Fortunately, BEHIV is the inaugural beneficiary. You can learn more about BEHIV and the services it offers to those infected with HIV/AIDS by calling 847-475-2115 or 773-293-4740. Or, visit their website at www.behiv.org.
