The 3rd Annual Brooklyn Big Eyed Blues Festival

Brooklyn, NY - September 25, 2008 - Big Eyed Productions will host it's
3rd Annual Brooklyn Big Eyed Blues Festival. The festival will be a three day event that will take place on Thursday, October 9, 2008 through Saturday, October 11, 2008 at various venues in Brooklyn, NY.

A brand new season has just arrived and with it comes the anticipation of the 3rd Annual Brooklyn Big Eyed Blues Festival and some "red hot Blues"!!

We will start on Thursday, October 9, 2008, with the powerful, moving and oftentimes funny interpretation of the Blues by Madame Pat Tandy. Ms.Tandy is a premiere Jazz and Blues vocalist who has appeared with Al Jarreau, Najee, Yolanda Adams and numerous others and have received rave reviews. Madame Tandy will appear at one of the new hot spots in Brooklyn, "Solomon's Porch", starting at 8pm.

On Friday, October 10, 2008, at 8pm, Jazz966 will sponsor day two of our festival with the "sultry, soulful sounds of the festivals' producer and founder, Beareather Reddy. We will end the evening with a bang with the explosive performance of Keith "Captain" Gamble & the Brand Nu Gypsies".

While we are excited to bring Blues music to the community, we are most proud of our efforts to "keep Blues alive" by passing it on to our youths by offering a Youth Blues Workshop from 10:30am-3:30pm, on Saturday, October 11, 2008. The workshop will include introduction to guitar, harmonica and blues writing. All sessions will be led by professional national and international musicians such as Keith "The Captain" Gamble,
and Tulivu Cumberbatch. Other activities will include storytelling, blues quizzies and a performance by The York College Youth Ensemble.

We will end of three day festival Saturday, Oct.11, 2008 at Jazz966 with "The Ray Schinnery Band", the multi-talented "Blues Man" from Delaware. This year, we will add a new component to our festival. On Thursday and Saturday nights, we will have a "harmonica blowout".

We have designed an exciting festival that will prove to satisfy the palates of Blues lovers anywhere. Please come out and show your support. You may visit our website, www.beareatherreddy.biz, for more information about show times, price and locations, as well as, http://www.eventbrite.com/event/75372441/bep to purchase tickets in advance.
