Katherine Jenkins burst onto the scene in 2003. That year she performed at Westminster Cathedral for Pope John Paul II's Silver Jubilee and held her debut performance at the Sydney Opera House. After graduating from the Royal Academy of Music, Katherine Jenkins signed the biggest recording deal in UK classical music history and released her debut album, Premiere. The album earned Katherine her first #1 as well as her first BRIT Award. Katherine Jenkins has performed all over the world and is a favorite of the Royal Family, having been invited to sing "God Save The Queen" at Her Royal Majesty's Diamond Jubilee as well as The Queen's coronation concerts at Buckingham Palace. Jenkins has also appeared as a mentor on ITV's Popstar to Operastar, played the role of Abigail in the BBC's iconic Dr. Who Christmas special and finished 2nd place on Dancing with the Stars in 2012.
