Seventh Annual Berklee Global Jazz Institute Summit Explores Improvisation and Humanity: March 29 - April 1 (Published: March 17, 2016)
This season's Signature Series at Berklee will conclude on April 1 at 8:00 p.m. at the Berklee Performance Center with the annual Berklee Global Jazz Summit, the capstone of four days of clinics and panels presented by the Berklee Global Jazz Institute (BGJI). Led by Danilo Pérez, the BGJI's artistic director, the concert will showcase students playing along their master mentors, including faculty members Terri Lyne Carrington and Jon Patitucci as well as special guest artist Danny Rivera. The seventh annual Berklee Global Jazz Summit concert takes place on Friday, April 1, at 8:00 p.m. at the Berklee Performance Center, located at 136 Massachusetts Avenue in Boston. Tickets are $12-18 and are available at Berklee.edu/BPC, by calling 617-747-2261, or at the box office. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
