RJ's Planet D Nonet Band at Jazz @ The Elks

Jazz @ The Elks happens on the last Tuesday of the month from 7 pm to 10 pm. There is a $10 donation at the door which includes hors d'oeuvres. Enjoy jazz in a listening room setting close to the entertainers.

Making their Jazz @ The Elks debut is the RJ Spangler Planet D Nonet Band on Tuesday, May 31st. Most of these guys have played at the Elks with other groups so you will recognize them. They describe themselves as "a down & dirty little swing band from Detroit", hence the Planet D with 9 men-Nonet. Enjoy listening to and dancing to RJ Spangler on Drums, Justin Jozwiak on Reeds, Jim Holden on Brass, Goode Wyche III on Tenor Sax, James O'Donnell on Trumpet and Vocals, Ken Ferry on Trumpet and Flugelhorn, T-Bone Paxton on Trombone and Vocals, Mike Zaporski on Keys, and Shannon Wade on Bass.
